Paper Cupcakes/TMITA

This week challenge at Paper Cupcakes/TMITA, Carol has challenge us to
1. 3 Flowers (minimum)
2. Lace or ribbon
3. Pearls or Gems
4. 1 Die cut

I hope my flower DP (DCWV Ciao Bella "Hello Beautiful) works for all the flowers...the other one I made.....got the ribbon, got the pearls, and the die cut....I used my cricut "Lacy Labels".....The coupon is from our wonderful leader Nina May.....this came with some wonderful sentiments...you can check it out HERE!!!!

P.S. I made this for my wonderful husband....it's his Valentine card.....I think he will like......

Little Girls Explosion Purse

Brenda at Qbees Quest, made this adorable purse....and I was so inspired to make it....she gave such awesome instuctions that I had to make it....well it turn out so cute that I made two.....it would be prefect for a small gift or candy.....please check her out if you would like to make one.....they are really easy and so cute.....and fun!!!

And the 2nd one I did...it only took me 5 minutes....

Wyatt and Jake

This is my grandson, Wyatt and my dog Jake (120lbs. baby).....they love each so much.....Wyatt was watching one of his movies and Jake just wanted to hang out with him....and to be close.....Wyatt wasn't feeling to good and Jake knew it.......

Paper Cupcake/TMITA challenge

This week. Nina May is our leader and she has ask us to make a card from this sketch and it has a twist.....

The way this works is pick three elements in a row like a tic-tac-toe position from the chart below. (Example: Stitching, button, some kind of heart; or button, ribbon or flower; or tag, flower, ric-rac; etc.) You do not have to use your elements in a tic-tac-toe manner, that is just how you pick what elements you are going to use in any way. You can use as much of those same elements as you like as long as you use all three of them at least once. You may also add other elements, but again as along as the tic-tac-toe elements are on your card at least once.

 

My card I used the "Some kind of Heart, Bling, and ribbon for the ric-rac."...

This weeks project is a sketch with any acquired image.....I used "Gigi on tube"......I wanted something springlike (I wish).....and I just love this image....(maybe because it looks like me.....hehehehehe) no not really.....I don't have a blue swim suit.....LOL

Grandson Birthday

 
  Hello.....this card is for our GS who will be 11 yrs old tomorrow..... When I saw this inmage from Stamping Dragon Designs I thought of Hunter....(GS) and they are having a Dt call also....
I tried to color it like Avatar characters.....just in a cartoon kinda way......color it with my copics markers and then I put some stickles on her wings and the dragon head.....thank you for looking......

Welcome back and Happy New Year everyone!! I hope that you have not forgotten about us since we took a month break. Sorry I didn't make any posts during our break, but I really needed a break and all my family was home during that time including my husband; so I just enjoyed my time away. The Design Team will be joining us next week. Not all the Designers will be coming back this New Year, but we will have some new ones to add come February. I want to especially thank them all for sharing their time and their talents. All my past and present designers have always been so special to me and I have always been so thankful for each and every one of them.

Over my break I watched a man being interviewed on Good Morning America. His interview was around why and how he came about sending out thank you cards daily for a year. He than wrote a book about it and how it affected his life. I found it to be quite interesting and thought it was such a wonderful idea. Could you imagine if we all sent out thank you cards daily for a full year?! There certainly would be lots of love flying around!

So, today I bring you a 2 part challenge. The first part of this challenge is to make a thank you card of any kind and the second part of this challenge is to actually mail it out to someone within the next two weeks or shortly after you make it. Of course I won't be able to know if you mailed it or not, but you will. So let's brighten someones day with a word of thanks and start this year off by being thankful.
