We all need tags for our gifts and this one would be so pretty on a gift….I’ve used White Leather, Gumdrop Green and Cardinal Red…..I can tell you these colors are so bright and beautiful and would make any tag just as beautiful….I hope this has inspire you to make some of your tags with Paper Temptress …..it’s the best…..

Paper Cupcake Challenge

This isn't the right image and I apologize....I've suffer a three day headache...and I guess my brain is still fuzzy! 

This week is our last challenge for 2011 at Paper Cupcakes....we will pick back up in January ...And the challenge is "Anything Goes".....and a FREEBIE!!!! It's "Welcome Winter and a Sentiment" I just used recollection cardstock and some stickes .....

I used my round spellbinders die to cut the center snowflake out and used a large size up to cut the border out....CB dots....easy.....we hope to see you there !!!!

A child needs some love.....

Hey my friends.....a little boy needs some love from you guys....if you have time....could you send a little boy some love......he is very....very....sick.....they just found out yesterday he is losing some of his sight.....has been in and out of St Jude for years now....and it doesn't look good...he loves getting mail and I thought maybe you guys would help out.....
He loves bible Verse, Veggie Tales and Disney.....if you can give a few minutes of your time it would give a smile on a child's face....

Quick and Easy Christmas Gift for Kids

This was the easiest little gift ever.....I got this idea from Paper Jewels who had made hers out of socks and popcorn....and they are the cutest thing too.....these are for my grandchildren just something a little extra.....I bought each of them a pair of gloves and a movie.... wrap them with white cardstock and tied a ribbon on....I put one glove inside of the other and tied it up with a little red ribbon.....draw on the faces.....and done....If you want to make some of these check out her blog for video on how she made them.....

These would made great gifts for the little children on you list!

Paper Cupcake Challenge

This week on Paper Cupcake hosted by Nina May is.....Winter fun and Sparky!!!! something with sledding, ice skating or snowman.....any winter fun.....I've used "Snider Ice Skating" by Nina May...on my tag....I color it with my copic marker and apply stickles on each color....you can see some of it....

The Last 6 1/2(L) X 5 1/8(W) is for your cover sheet.....7 1/2 (L) X 6 1/8(W) inside fit to page decorate as desire....

Paper Cupcake Challenge

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! I know my family and I sure did...and stuff too.....to us the best part of the Thanksgiving fest (other than being thankful ) is the left over's.....which makes us twice as stuff.....
This week challenge at Paper Cupcake/TMITA is being hosted by our talent DT Sony....and she has challenge us to a "Christmas Shabby Chic/Vintage.....and using "Santa Helpers" made it so easy....by Nina May....

I color her with my copic marker and added glitter....I cut out a window and pop it up....I used K & Co Christmas DP.....I also cut a tree and a little bear but didn't place it to well....added more glitter to the tree...

Christmas Ornament Box

This is a Ornament Box....prefect for that little gift on your list.....I've used , gold, silver, razzleberry, and olive......which is prefect colors together..... All the cuts are from my Cricut using Christmas Cartridge......The trim I got at Hancock Fabics.....and the bling is from my stash.....The earrings are mine......it's just for show.....the lace is from a estate sale..... how I made the box is so simple.....I cut 4-3 x 1  strips of chipboard glue ends together...attach my cardstock 4 x 1-1/8 x 4, glue back of box to back of cardstock....folded over front of cardstock.....and finish the inside with black velvet and gold trim.....I hope you like it and will give it a try......

I'm in a New Challenge

is having a challenge that all of us should do.....but don't....so this year for Christmas I plan to do better.....and here is how...........


So here and now, in front of blog and everyone, I am committing to attaining this goal.
Here’s the schedule …
November 5th – November 30th – Buy presents, put lights up outside, do outdoor Christmas planters.
December 1st – 2nd – Decorate inside of house.
December 3rd – 4th – Fill out Christmas cards.
December 5th – 31st – Enjoy festive holiday season

I know we can do this....so come on and take the challenge with me...."Let's Do This!" So what do you say......can you do this??? OR..... are you going to do the same thing you did last year.....wait to the last minute.....and we know how that feels....
OR.....take this challenge with me and see if maybe....just maybe.....we can enjoy our holiday like we are suppose too.....what do you say????? are you with me.....

Something Sweet

This week challenge at Paper Cupcake is "Trick or Treat".....something sweet, candy, cupcake, or Ice Cream.....anything that say's sweet.....I've used "Kiss Cupcake and Valentine tickets".....chocolate kisses are my favorite....I love them.....and I love this image by Nina May......

I've use my Cricut to cut the designs....color it with my copics....I hope you will come and play with us this week......and have a fun and safe Halloween!

Witch Decoration

I made this for my daughter for her front door....sense we don't have any trick or treats and she does......

 I hand cut the hat, hands and legs.....I use Papter Temptress cardstock Orange and Pop Grape....the shoes I cut from my Cricut...and I don't remember what cart..(sorry) I then put on Outdoor Mod Podge then I paint all the colors on ....and Mod Podge again to seal it.....the shoes I added Mod Podge again and then sprinkle MS glitter and then put another coat of Outdoor Mod Podge.....the body I cut strips of black tulle and fabic and tied them around and old quilter frame....after I got through with this ....I was trying to figure out how to hang it.....I spotted my Dt Coke can....and pop the ring off it and hot glue it on.....
The shoes are so cute and glittery.....you gotta love Mod Podge.....thank you for looking...

Pink and Black Challenge

Light House

Halloween Candy Boxes

These boxes hols three fun size candy bars.....All the images are from my Cricut.....

Here is how I made the pumpkin box using my gypsy....

The pumpkin image is from Gypsy Wanderings and all the other shapes I got from George Basic Shapes.....and they are all welted together....score to make box....the skeleton is  from...Indie Art.....the box is 3 X 1 X 1 3/4...the hardest part of these boxed were not to eat the chocolate bars.....I used Paper Temptress card stock...orange and whip cream....

This is for Critter Sketch Challenge #85 .....I used The Paper STudio "Memories" DP....Paper Cupcakes image "Pumpkin Jester by Nina May.....colored with my copics...... the leaves and flowers I cut out with my Cricut.....the border punch is Recollection...thank you for looking and I appreciate your comments....

Welcome Baby!

This week challenge at Paper Cupcakes/TMITA is hosted by our talented Designer Jennifer Bliss....and she has challenge us to be...."Tree Hugger...going green, reusing or recycling.....So I made a door hanger using sheets of paper from and old book....I use Lindys Stamp Gang....pink mist on the paper and score them 1/2 apart....my images is by Nina May from Paper Cupcakes/TMITA called "Dino with Balloon" and color it with my copic markers....

I put the image in my Microsoft word ...resize it and added my sentiment.....added lace around the my image and pearls on the corners....the white crochet flower I made attach a little rhinestone in the center.....
If you have something that you've been wanting to recycle and this is the prefect time to come and play with us.....

This is for my sweet friend Abby....she sent me a sweet gift that she had made....and I want to tell you ....it touch my heart.....so I made this little card for this weeks Paper Cupcake Challenge that is being hosted by Audrey....and her challenge is to used 3--Punch's, die cuts, or cutting machine....I scrap lift this ...but I can't seem to find who had made it...(and I'm sorry)... I used my Cricut for the banner and scallop edges...I weld two scallops together for the card base....used refection cardstock and K & Co DP colored it with my copic.....the images is "Sunflower Topiary" by Nina May....I hope this has inspire you to come and play with us this week.....it's a challenge

I've created a home decor project for Halloween....at Paper Temptress.....
All my shapes are cut out with my Cricut ....if you have a Cricut you know sometimes when you cut out little letters or shapes they tend to cut ruff or in pieces.....well, when you used Paper Temptress card stock you don't have that problem at all......they cut out so pretty and clean.....
Here I've used Green ruche and Orange with Whip Cream....doesn't that sound like a yummy drink......well this card stock is definitely yummy!!!!

I'm playing over at Hambo Hoedown which is a progressive challenge....you play this week and get a another image free to play with next week....This weeks challenge is a color challenge with a school theme....I use a freebie,  Cool Cat.....colored it with my copic makers....cut my apple with Home Accent Cricut cart.... attach it to some washable colored markers......

I got this idea from my friend Kathy at Lucky Stamper... but she used a pencil box....which was way to cool......thanks for looking....

Paper Cupcake/TMITA Challenge

This week at Paper Cupcakes/TMITA is being hosted by Sony and the challenge is "To use ribbon 3 different ways and Birthday theme" but there's a catch...you can't use white ribbon.....and let me tell you it was hard not to use white....
I did manage to use 3 ribbons and my image is "March of the Tea Set"  which is one of my favorite by Nina May.....I colored it with copic markers, swiss dot CB folder...

Just looking at this makes me happy....and I hope it makes you happy too....so happy that you'll come and play with us this week....

Just a Memo

I made this for ME!....it's just right for my grocery list....it measures 5 1/2 x 10. I've cover my chipboard with my favorite  mango orange and punch my border with silver lustre...the mango orange is so beautiful......I used a plastic clip holder and hot glue a flower...I got the memo pad at Michaels for a $1...

I've made the flowers and spray them with Lindys Stamp Gang "Pretty in Pink"....they are so pretty......The images is this week freebie from Nina May at Paper Cupcakes...I colored it with copic markers, the DP is K & Co. Paper Cupcake Challenge

This week challenge at Paper Cupcake/TMITA is hosted by Jennifer and she has challenge us to "Lets Get Wild" use a animal image....I've used Mouse Friend Splash by Nina May...
I've colored it with my permanent markers and added stickles to the boots and hat to make it "POP"....
This was so easy and fun to make.....so come on over and play with us this week....can't wait to see what you create.....

Just a little note

I've finally gotten all my test done....biopsy done and results ...everything is clear...no more stones....YIPPEE!!! I had a really bad day yesterday....I had a cystoscopy and ureteroscopy done....stones and a twisted ureter are all taken care of.....flush my kidneys and in that process untwisted my ureter.....but the anesthesia made me deadly sick.....but now I feel so much better....still really sore...and no more pain....

My daughter and I are going to Nashville, TN....tomorrow for the CKC Show......we've been planing this for months....will be back Saturday afternoon....
The Hotel has computers you can use....so I will be checking my emails....
I hope to post some pictures of the show to let you all know what's going on.....

Sit a While

This week challenge at Paper Cupcakes is hosted by Audrey....she has challenge us and you to use Mystical Creatures....fairies, Unicorn, and Mermaids....or similar.....
I've used "Sabrina on Branch" by Nina May.....I color with permanent markers and used my spica glitter pens ....
I cut the branch out with my Cicut Bloom Cartridge, added some beads....the stamp is by Stamp TV.....

I hope you will come and play this week and I can't wait to see what you come up with.....Remember Nina May at Paper Cupcakes/TMITA always gives you a freebie to play with.....

Fireplace Match Holder

You know how ugly those fireplace match boxes can be....well not anymore!
For the base I used white cryogen ...this is the best cardstock  to used for your base....it gives you crisp fold lines and covers all the ugly stuff.....I've also used Black Ruche and Gold Metallic....on the white part of the letter I used White Lustre...
The ribbon is 5/8 Black & White Stripes Grosgrain....and little bling.....




This is the back of the box showing the sticking pad for the match....I hope you like this and give it a try for yourself....or as a gift for someone special.....
